Quite frankly the game is really badly maintained. And of course, if you buy the membership you not only get sapphires a month but you get 5 daily login sapphires on top of any other dailies that everyone else gets. When the time came the game refreshed to find two stalls of party food, 10 sapphires and a party hat. And that's not even mentioning the kids who couldn't attend because of the time or, according to posts I read on Facebook, parents who tried to log in for the party and couldn't as the servers registered as down due to there being so many people online for the 'party'. There are glitches and bugs all over the place, not to mention Wildworks are really hard to get hold of when you have an issue or complaint. So anyone from Europe, like us, would have to stay up until 1am to get the event items. New houses and furniture are also sapphire based so if you want to expand into better places, you're going to have to pay because they cost hundreds, sometimes thousands of sapphires. This game is also fairly PTW. Many patches later, my partner still can't renew his membership so our daughter has no-one in her pack and can't play the pack game with him. I have never known a child's game to only hold events in one timezone and the hype they created about this pathetic event was extremely unfair for the kids. So as usual, the trap is set and the money flows and that would be fine if you really got anything decent for the membership or if the devs cared at all about the players.{/INSERTKEYS}{/PARAGRAPH} Luckily my daughter brushed it off as stupid and decided she'd rather ready Harry Potter and go to bed but I saw a LOT of kids who were severely disappointed. I also had big issues trying to get membership to work on the website when i first signed up and it took 3 weeks to finally be able to do it. I also take issue with the team's handling of the events. For instance, the recent Halloween event was approaching and their ingame and email communication stated there would be a 'Halloween Party' Written in the worst text language I have ever seen, I have never seen children write like that, ever , and there would be 'sapphires and prizes'. There are numerous issues will membership billing too, some people have been telling WW they haven't been able to buy membership in steam for months and they get the same deceitful reply - "We're putting a patch out soon with the fix". But fine, it's a special occasion and so I sat up with my daughter as she excitedly counted down the minutes along with the other kids in the game, many of whom were also European and also up late. Granted, the new daily spin wheel does mean sapphires are easier to come by but it's still insanely slow. However, there was only one time it would happen, 5pm PST.
